When Jack Apple began building homes in 1954 he didn't realize the impact he would have on St. Petersburg, Florida. After serving in the United States Navy, G.J. "Jack" Apple began building residential homes through out Pinellas, Hillsborough, Pasco, and Manatee Counties. Jack and his various subsidiaries became responsible for building luxury homes, condominiums and owning some of St. Petersburg's premier real estate.

Today, the heritage established by Jack Apple has been continued by his son Douglas, who has been building residential homes for over 30 years.
